Waking up in the nastiest possible manner

Waking up early in the morning can prove to be an excruciating task for quite a large number of people and sometimes ordinary alarm clocks simply don't seem to work anymore, due to the fact that the brain has already gotten used to the sound and simply ignores it. However, for this particularly difficult cases, a possible solution is represented by the Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock, a device that will most likely wake up even the heaviest sleepers.

The device uses two separate systems in order to get the users up and running, namely an alarm and a vibrating attachment. However, we're not talking about some mere alarm sound, but about a "turbo-charged" 113db extra loud alarm, which will surely scare the heck out of anyone, let alone wake them up.

And as if this wasn't enough, users can always go for the shaker unit, which is placed under the pillow and starts vibrating in the same time with the alarm. Practically, this thing will replicate, at least to some extent, an earthquake, making sure that the user will wake up, despite of his/her reluctance to do so.

The device also emits pulsating, flashing alert lights and sports a hi/low dimmer for better night vision. Moreover, it quite obviously sports a tone and volume control system (after all, not all users are ready and willing to wake up to the max power this thing can output), and even sports a backup battery, thus being able to carry out its "mission" even in the case of a power failure.

The Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock retails for around 57.69 US dollars (42.33 Euro), which is not exactly a small price to pay, but it's probably worth it, especially for those hopeless users who simply can't wake up by using normal means (a.k.a. alarm clocks).

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
