Logitech, a maker widely known mostly because of its gaming mice, has recently signed a deal with Microsoft according to which all the future released webcams will feature an easy access to the MSN online service. But this time, the company wants to amaze us by launching a butterfly designed QuickCall USB Speakerphone for Internet calling. The buttons are the common ones you all know - the one used to receive/terminate calls, adjust volume and muting, and also alert lights for VoIP calls.

As you see in the photo, the shape is rather unusual and futuristic, but also the features come with a quality guarantee. The sole innovation brought by this new gadget is the two-microphone system (one microphone on one side and one on the other) that is said to help boast up the voice quality. Moreover, Logitech's patented RightSound feature is also included in order to diminish the echoes that usually come out from other similar devices. I think you know what I'm speaking about and you remember all the nasty moments in which you had to handle 'the technology bugs'.

Logitech's latest device - the QuickCall USB Speakerphone - comes with a USB interface, getting the power from the PC or notebook. Furthermore, it also sports a handy headset port, so you can connect a compatible headset for private calls and it doesn't need an additional charger. It's mobile indeed!

The Logitech QuickCall USB Speakerphone is available starting October in the US, and December in Europe at a suggested price of $99.
