After it has already hit the retail market with numerous gadgets, Logitech comes with another one - a Skype cordless phone named Logitech Cordless Internet Handset which you can use to make or receive calls at a distance of about 50 meters (164 feet) from your PC or laptop because it comes with a USB base station.

If you visit the maker's web site you will see that this handset comes with Skype certification and of course logo enabling Skype-to-Skype calling, SkypeIn and SkypeOut. But this is not all, as Logitech's device can also be used for making calls to mobiles or fixed-line phones.

The color LCD screen, on the other hand, displays available Skype contacts, Skype Voicemail notifications, caller ID, call waiting, and call history information and it also features selectable ring tones, illuminated dial pad, hands-free speakerphone, belt clip and headset jack.

The Logitech Cordless Internet Handset will be available in the US and Europe starting October at a suggested price of $99.
