Logitech, one of the world's leading vendors of computer peripherals and gaming products, has just updated its product portfolio with the introduction of a new keyboard, specifically designed to meet the requirements of gaming users and part of the company's line of G-series. Dubbed G110 gaming keyboard, the new product adds to the company's growing line of gaming-oriented solutions, including products such as the G15 and G19 keyboards or the G9 gaming mouse.

The G110 seems to be a more mainstream alternative to the aforementioned products, providing gaming enthusiasts with a choice for a Logitech gaming keyboard that comes at a more affordable price tag. It comes packed with a number of unique solutions that make it an ideal choice for those looking to spend hours trying out the latest gaming applications or attempting to break a new record.

According to the feature page of the new keyboard, users will be able to enjoy the custom-color backlighting solution that will be available after installing a special piece of software from the company's website. This feature enables users to create custom colors for their keyboard's backlighting LEDs, while also offering an easy way to locate keys when playing in the dark. Additionally, the device also comes with an integrated USB Audio solution, a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port, 12 programmable G-keys for up to 36 unique functions per game, 'Game/desktop' mode, removable palm rest and instant media access buttons.

The Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 is slated to become available in the EMEA starting this January for a suggested retail price tag of £79.99. As expected, the keyboard is compatible with both Windows XP, Vista and 7 operating systems as well as the Mac OS X 10.4 or later. The G110 is connectible via a USB 2.0 interface and comes bundled with the software CD and the user documentation.
