14 DAY TRIAL // You desired a wireless keyboard-mouse kit, but you're a passionate gamer and the reliability of well-known solutions available on the market doesn't please you. You haven't probably heard yet of the Logitech CordlessDesktop MX3100 kit, a solution that connects your keyboard, mouse and system through radio waves, without affecting in any way the accuracy of your actions.
The keyboard includes 20 buttons with special functions for quick-launching multimedia applications or browsing. The mouse is extremely accurate and comfortable and is fitted with no less than eight programmable buttons, even better than a joystick. In fact, the mouse practically becomes a joystick, and is even better as a weapon for the most demanding computer games.
The mouse, keyboard and radio receiver (which is also used as recharging unit for the mouse) require a minimal installation, which means simply that you have to connect the receiver to the system's USB port, and then to synchronize the units by pressing the connection buttons.
In order to program the buttons and later on change their functions, you have to install the SetPoint application, supplied by Logitech. The set up operations take only a few minutes and allow the instant access to the most common applications or functions.
"La piece de resistance" of the kit is represented by the MX1000 mouse. The researchers from Logitech channeled their efforts on the light source, replacing the classical LED with a laser. As a result of the new technology, the optical sensor receives much more detailed images of the work surface, with a plus of precision.
For the wireless transmission with the PC, MX1000 uses FAST RF technology. In comparison with the previous models, a double quantity of data can be sent, the coordinates being received twice as fast. MX1000 thus becomes a wireless mouse communicating as fast as a classical one, reacting to every move you make.
