PlayStation Network, here I come!

I know that "Logitech Cordless MediaBoard" sounds very fancy but it's nothing more than a computer keyboard adapted for Sony's next-gen. By the looks of it, this is the first keyboard to be adapted for the PS3, and a quite expensive one you might say, because this baby retails for US$ 80.

At least you won't need a mouse if you use this PS3 keyboard because it has a built-in touchpad, you can navigate menus with vertical scrolling and Left/right mouse quick-keys. You can use this MediaBoard for an easier communication with the PlayStation Network, set up profiles, edit accounts and even send text messages. It can prove to be quite annoying entering a text using the standard controller, but you have all your problems solved if you get this product. You can use the Logitech MediaBoard from up to 300 feet away from your PS3 and the package comes with and USB receiver, 2 AA batteries, user documentation and 2-year limited warranty.

If you want to use the PlayStation Network, you first have to set up an account. Registration is performed via the PS3 console (duh!), but two types of accounts can be created, master accounts and sub accounts. The master account allows full access to all settings, parental control included. Several sub accounts can be created and the owner of the master account can restrict and monitor these accounts to his or her will.

If you already have a PlayStation 3 and you're crazy about its online features, you might want to try out the Logitech MediaBoard.
