Following yesterday’s announcement regarding the new gaming keyboard from Logitech, the one-hand G13, the company is now expected to further expand its gaming lineup with the addition of yet another keyboard, which will likely be launched alongside the aforementioned G13.

Dubbed the G18, the recently spotted gaming peripheral builds on the company's successful line of gaming gear, which includes the G15 and G11 keyboards, and the latest G9 mouse.

Unfortunately, not many solid details are available at the moment, but thanks to a picture that surfaced on the Chinese Engadget, we do have some idea of what to expect when the keyboard drops. Apparently, the G18 will come out as an improved version of the company's gaming G15 keyboard, offering users roughly the same design boasting a number of customizable “G” keys and some multimedia functions as well. The keyboard will apparently also feature an integrated display placed in the center.

The built-in display is different from that of previous “G” keyboards from Logitech, as this model will provide a color LCD. It is uncertain how this feature will come to be of use to gamers, but given the overall good-looks of the keyboard, enthusiasts will certainly be on the lookout for when it becomes available for purchase. Also, take into account that the G18 is expected to deliver 12 programmable G keys and an orange backlighting for all the available keys.

As mentioned earlier, there's still no word on when the G18 will become official, but apparently, Logitech plans to unveil the G13 announced yesterday sometime in January next year. Our best guess is that the company plans to showcase the products at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which will take place on January 8-11.
