Tennis pro Serena Williams is switching it up. One year ago, rumor broke that she was recording music in a Florida studio and, now, samples of the first track have emerged online.

You can listen to it below, embedded at the end of this post.

TMZ says there is more where this one came from, which can only mean that Serena is getting ready for her first foray into the music industry with a full album.

“Serena laid down some tracks last year at a Florida record studio called B Major Music Group – owned by Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie, who's good friends with the Williams sisters,” the celebrity e-zine writes.

It also praises the pro for her good flow, even though the words are a bit cliché. Rapper The Game also believes this could be the beginning of something really great.

“You shouldn’t expect her to come with anything less than the official rap bars. I can see her doing big things,” he says.

Take a listen.
