Miley Cyrus found the time in her busy schedule to lend her vocal skills to a song by Buddy, an up-and-coming singer, called “Smoke Signals.” Despite the fact that her voice can only be heard in the chorus, the collaboration has every shot of going into the charts.

The song is featured on the mixtape called “Idle Time” that is set to release this week, bearing the name of the Compton native. “Smoke Signals” has Pharrell's musical talents written all over it, and it's easy to imagine that it's going to be a summertime hit with its fresh vibe and its disco feel.

The summer vibe is also enforced by some of the lyrics that speak of chilling out in fine weather, “Ridin’ around with the top down / With a fine dime / And she told me to roll up / Hey / She like ‘yo, let’s go / Let the games begin / What’s the hold up?’ / Hey.”

The controversial Cyrus is no stranger to working with Pharrell, as she is featured on his upcoming solo album “G I R L,” along with other resounding names in the musical industry, such as Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk and Alicia Keys.
