I will admit that I pressed play on the song above prepared to hate because, like millions of other people, I thought Justin Bieber should not even consider messing with the music of Michael Jackson. However, their new, totally surprising “collaboration” isn’t all that bad.

Check it out.

Called “Slave 2 the Rhythm,” the song was recorded by Michael shortly before his death, Capital FM says.

Bieber’s camp took it, made it more dancey and added Bieber’s voice on it. The result is pretty good, even if you’re not a Bieber fan, which I’m not.

However, it’s no credit to The (autotuned) Biebs: Michael was simply that good.

“Excited for what is to come. MJ set the bar. Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how u treat the fans. Wish he was here...,” Justin wrote on his Twitter before the big reveal.

He also promised “big things ahead.” We will see.
