We've been getting used to Lana Del Rey coming up with a single just about every other week lately, in the wake of her releasing her next album, “Ultraviolence.” Needless to say, people have very high expectations since “Born to Die,” Lana's previous album which was an immense success.

The song “Brooklyn Baby” was premiered on Lana's official Vevo page yesterday, June 8, and it's already racked up over half a million views, hinting that it's yet another Lana Del Rey hit. The track is slow-tempo and it speaks of growing up in Brooklyn.

“Brooklyn Baby” was co-written with Del Rey's boyfriend and rumored fiancé, Barrie-James O'Neill. In fact, you can actually hear his voice singing along with Lana at some point in the song's chorus which goes something in the lines of “Yeah my boyfriend's pretty cool/ But he's not as cool as me/ Cause I'm a Brooklyn baby.”

The track comes just days after “Ultraviolence,” the album's new title track, has hit the Internet and has already sparked controversy with its lyrics that speak of domestic violence, “West Coast,” which made the Billboard Top 20, and “Shades of Cool”.

The album is set to drop on June 17 and was produced by “The Black Keys'” Dan Auerbach, who promised we would be blown away by the songs.
