A true movie buff knows the kind of weight Hans Zimmer’s name carries, and only a true movie buff can understand the joy that comes with hearing the first samples of the music he wrote for the upcoming Superman film, “Man of Steel.”

If you’re not one, perhaps the samples themselves should do all the talking for me: above is a preview for the “Man of Steel” OST.

It is now available for pre-order on Amazon, so check it out to see if it’s something you’d like to own once it goes on sale.

Below, you will find the official tracklisting. *Minor spoilers are included in the titles (assuming you’re not familiar with the story), so don’t read any further if you don’t want to be spoiled.

“Man of Steel” is directed by Zack Snyder and produced by Chris Nolan (a winning combination any given day), and stars Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, and Kevin Costner.

It drops on June 14.
