It looks like Linkin Park’s official Facebook Page was hacked earlier today and has been spamming fans with various vulgar images with links.

The page, which has over 62.5 million likes, was hacked by an unknown individual who took the time to post a range of links, including to pages that couldn’t have possibly been safe to access considering the source, HackRead reports.

While some of them seemed to be ok as far as the topic goes, others were not safe for work. “The Word Girlfriend Text Fails,” “50 WTF Facts” and more are just a few examples of the links that ended up on the Linkin Park page.

Fans were quick to get over their confusion as to why their favorite band was posting such content and managed to spot the hacker and alert the appropriate channels.

The Facebook page has since been cleaned of all spam, including links and pictures, much to the fans’ happiness. However, others aren’t all that thrilled that Linkin Park’s page was vulnerable enough to be hacked and the number of likes is dropping fast.

Thankfully, given the fact that there are over 62.5 million fans following the page, the damage isn’t too big, as of yet, but it could be a nightmare if the trend continues for too long.
