She's made peace with the producers of the show, will make an appearance

Lindsay Lohan's Saturday Night Live hosting gig might have been trashed by critics, but it's certainly done wonders for her career. She's now in talks for a guest appearance on yet another successful TV show, “Glee,” it has emerged.

Though it's been a little over two years since she publicly denounced (through her mother Dina) “Glee” as a very indelicate and shameful show for picking on her, Lindsay is now ready to call a truce.

TV Line has learned that the legally troubled actress is now in talks with “Glee” producers for a guest appearance – and, to make things even better, Lindsay will be playing herself.

“Glee is going Lindsane. The Fox hit is in final negotiations with Lindsay Lohan to guest star in one of this season’s final episodes, TVLine has learned exclusively. What’s more, she’ll be tackling a role she was born to play: herself!” writes the publication.

“An insider at the Fox hit confirms that, if the deal is sealed, the movie star-turned-tabloid queen – once famously the butt of a joke on the show – will serve as a celebrity judge at Nationals,” TV Line reports.

“Although there’s no word yet as to who might be joining Lohan on the panel, past judges for the annual season-ending competition have included Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John,” says the e-zine.

The joke in question referenced above is the same as the one that got Dina to say producers should show more consideration and respect for Lindsay who, at the time, was in rehab.

It featured Gwyneth Paltrow as a Spanish substitute teacher, trying to get her students to learn phrases like “How many times has Lindsay been in rehab?” and “Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?”

Dina's comments caused quite a frenzy online at the time, especially since they were the only ones to consider the episode unfunny, offensive and disrespectful, as we also noted at the time.
