Questions of whether Lindsay Lohan's sobriety being just an act for the cameras are beginning to pop up after the controversial actress is rumored to have fired her sobriety coach immediately after the end of her short reality series with Oprah's OWN network.

Radar seems to think so. They claim that Lindsay, who made her fame with hard parties fueled by alcohol and drugs that have landed her in jail and rehab, was just putting on an act when she took on a sobriety coach and made it look like she was getting ready for a complete life overhaul on her reality series.

Those who watched the first episodes saw Lindsay being accompanied by Michael Cormier, who was named as her sobriety coach, that is someone who supports her through her struggles to stay off booze and drugs.

He had been hired to provide assistance to the actress after her 2013 rehab stint, but, according to a source “as soon as the cameras were packed up, Lindsay gave Michael the pink slip, and he hasn’t heard from her since.”

Last year, after she came out of rehab, Lohan was all about new beginnings, determined to make a big change in her life because, according to the same source “Lindsay immediately hired Michael to be her sober living coach/companion. He moved from Los Angeles to New York City to be with her 24/7.”

Cormier's credentials as a senior counselor at the Cliffsie Malibu Rehab Center, specialized in helping people with their recovery, would have made him the perfect man to see Lindsay achieve her final goal of becoming a sober person.

Also, such talent doesn't come cheap as the source reveals that “This wasn’t cheap for Lindsay, as Michael charges up to $1,500 [€1,078]a day,” says the source and thinks that “it was important for Lindsay to show the world while she was filming the reality show for OWN that she was sober. Having Michael there gave her a lot of credibility and support when she needed it.”

But no sooner had the cameras stopped rolling on her reality series than the 27-year-old actress gave Michael the boot, despite his protests and those of the members of her team. In fact, the entire filming process turned out to be very difficult because of Lindsay's refusal to conform, some of which was documented and presented to viewers for added drama.

While the camera reveal daily struggles from the production team to get Lohan to play along, the actress has maintained that she has remained sober all this time and that she hasn't touched drugs or alcohol for a long time, despite the fact that insiders say she hasn't been to an AA meeting in months.
