The word on the street these days is that Lindsay Lohan is slowly but surely becoming obsolete, and we use that word instead of “uninteresting” because Lohan was never interesting. The ultimate proof is the fact that her much touted reality series made by Oprah's OWN television network, is dropping so fast in ratings that even “Sponge Bob SquarePants” draws more people in front of the TV set.

Radar is reporting that the show is tanking in a big way and that as many as 30% of viewers haven't tuned in for the second episode after watching the pilot. The first episode aired on March 9 and it was watched by 693,184 people with a .56 rating in the key demographic of women between the ages of 25-54 and a .53 rating in those between 18 and 34.

When the second episode aired, only 527,000 people tuned in to watch what Lindsay was up to, which constitutes a 24% drop in audiences. Sadly for her and Oprah, the third and fourth episodes registered even lower ratings.

To give you an idea of just how bad those numbers are, bear in mind that “SpongeBob SquarePants,” a cartoon airing on Nickelodeon at the same time is getting over 3 million viewers per episode.

What's interesting is that there is another, much more famous reality series that is getting killed by the same cartoon. Can you guess which one we're talking about? That's right, it's Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the show that used to draw in over 9 million viewers per episode but has been dropping in ratings constantly for several seasons now.

Meanwhile, Lindsay has already pocketed the two million dollars Oprah paid her for the show, but it's all gone down the drain, according to insiders who claim she's already broke due to her incessant shopping and hard partying.

In fact, she's so low on money, that she had to fire her personal assistant who decided to stay with her free of charge until he can find another celebrity to hitch a ride with. Granted, out of the two millions, her publicist, her agent and her manager all got a share of the profit, but she was still left with close to one million, which doesn't explain why she would end up broke so soon after filming was complete.

The main issue is that Lindsay can't save money and she's used to living beyond her means. If this keeps up and she doesn't look like she's going to stop soon, it's all going to turn pear-shaped for her really soon.

It's not like people are beating down her door, offering her roles. She's already earned a reputation for being unreliable on set and throwing tantrums and that's why no one will hire her anymore. Her next project, a movie called “Inconcievable” is being produced by her and she's also starring in it, with the backing of some reported shady investors.
