14 DAY TRIAL // Dina Lohan was very proud and happy when Oprah Winfrey agreed to pretty much take Lindsay under her wing and mentor her back into the spotlight, but I guess she never counted on being banned from the whole process.
After her first post-rehab interview with Oprah for The Next Chapter, Lindsay started working on a docuseries for OWN, for which she reportedly scored a $2 million (€1.47 million) paycheck.
Producers have banned her often-troublesome parents Michael and Dina from the set, TMZ has learned.
“Producers were struggling a few weeks back with the show's direction and after intense debate decided to not include the ‘Lohan family circus’,” the report notes.
“We're told cameras did capture Michael and Lindsay together on 3 days – but it's unclear whether that footage will make the final cut... and there won't be any further shooting with daddy dearest,” TMZ adds.
The fact that Dina was recently arrested for driving under the influence certainly didn’t help matters, and producers believe all this drama would only help distract from the main goal of the series: that of showing Lindsay’s comeback.
