14 DAY TRIAL // Lindsay Lohan admitted to being devastated by the death of her close friend Heath Ledger, who OD’ed in January 2008. As it turns out, Ledger’s passing had a bigger impact on her than she would ever reveal to the media, as Dina Lohan told estranged husband Michael Lohan in a recorded phone conversation dating from last year, audio made available on Radar Online.
Michael Lohan is currently trying to make his daughter see that she needs professional help (i.e. rehab) by releasing to the media recordings of private conversations on her alleged drug use. On one of these recordings, her mother is heard telling Michael that Lindsay was dating actor Heath Ledger when he died from an accidental overdose and that said episode truly messed her up so badly she feared for her life.
“And she was dating Heath when he died.” Dina is heard telling Michael. “I don’t know if you know that, but I know cause I would drop her off and they were friends very, very close, ok? […] Because when she’s drunk or takes an Adderall with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking. That [expletive] her up.” Dina further says as to how Lindsay reacted to Heath’s passing.
“She cannot be alone. When she sleeps here she sleeps with me... she has fears from being little and what you did to us.” Dina continues to say in a very concerned tone. Also on the same recording, Dina is heard telling Michael that she would like Lindsay to step away from her relationship to Samantha Ronson because it can’t bring forth but bad things. “It’s very easy for a rational person to say. But for an irrational person who has a problem with her DNA and alcohol and Adderall and asthma and every other things she’s got wrong with her.” Dina says of Lindsay’s inability to break free from Samantha.
Lindsay Lohan has not yet responded to her father’s releasing yet another conversation on such a personal matter as her love life is. Only days ago, Michael Lohan also made public another phone conversation with Dina, in which she described how Lindsay would punch her and even threaten to throw her out of a moving car for trying to stage an intervention and get her to rehab.
