A teary-eyed Lindsay Lohan dropped the bomb on the people watching her OWN reality show season finale. The hard party girl appealed to everyone's softer side when she revealed that she suffered a miscarriage while filming for the show.

The 27-year-old actress blurted out her announcement to explain for those days that she skipped on filming. “No one knows this: I had a miscarriage for those two weeks I took off. It's a very long story,” she said.

Lohan complained that this medical emergency left her unable to move and also feeling sick. She also mentioned that it took a lot out of her emotionally, hinting that, while she may feel better now, she is still very much affected by the loss.

“I couldn't move, I was sick,” Lindsay said on the show's season finale, adding “Mentally, that messes with you.” She did look very distraught as she poured her soul out to her audience, but one can't help that there is something amiss with this whole story.

She's referring to a moment in the previous episode of the show when she wouldn't leave her room and it was announced that “she doesn't want to come down.” Previously, the issue was put down to a very bad cold, but now Lindsay would have us believe that it was much more serious than that.

Disappointingly, there is no mention of the father of the child, which only works to add to the excitement of the story. However, the secretive nature of this latest bombshell might not be enough to save Lindsay's reality show from the proverbial axe.

Oprah Winfrey, the owner of the OWN network and the one who planned the entire reality show, is currently having second thoughts about continuing Lindsay's reality series due to very poor ratings. There is a direct connection to be made between that and Lohan's recent shocking announcement right at the end of the series.

Keeping up appearances, Lindsay's mom, Dina, tweeted to Oprah right after the show ended “Oprah call me,” seeming very distraught with the recent revelations about her daughter.

This was by no means the only recent scandal that Lindsay has been involved in, suspected of being nothing more than a publicity stunt to promote her show. Her famous leaked list in which she'd named 36 celebrities she'd had in her bed held headlines for several weeks when it came out.

But even that might not be enough to save Lindsay's declining career, which many think that is going to end once her reality series is canceled. And, by the looks of things, it's going in that general direction, because several outlets are claiming that Oprah doesn't want to sign her for a second season.
