14 DAY TRIAL // Though she doesn't have that much to do with the film industry anymore, Lindsay Lohan showed up at the Cannes Film Festival over the weekend, and it was mainly for the parties because, as soon as she arrived, she hit the club scene and she hit it hard.
On Wednesday night she had a “gig” at a club in Cannes, where she was supposed to act as a DJ, but today the press is inundated with photos and reports of her partying wildly, sparking rumors that she's boozing again, after just last month she swore she was sober on her OWN reality series.
While attending the VIP Room, Lindasy didn't seem to stick to her promise and raged on and on as her brother Michael tried to restrain her to the best of his abilities. TMZ has some video from the party, and, while she can't be seen drinking, there is a lot of alcohol surrounding her because it's a club.
Other have noted that Lindsay's party must have been lame since no other celebrities were in attendance, in a town which is just about bursting these days with famous people from all over the world.
Lindsay then must have single-handedly managed to tune the VIP Room in the NSVIP (not so very important) Room with her DJ skills. The paparazzi, however, were having a field day, which explains why there are so many photos of Lindsay getting down in the press today.
It's the same photos that are sparking worries among her friends who are now thinking that Lindsay is returning to her old party ways from back in 2010. As we all know, that didn't end up quite well for the actress, but it seems it was not a lesson learned because she's repeating it all over again in 2014.
Sources close to the party have reported that Lindsay has also been spotted with her long-time friend Gavin Doyle, the same friend who was with her in 2010, when she was at the height of her legal troubles and antics.
“Lindsay was also with Gavin four years ago. And now he’s with her again. Everyone is worried that she’s back partying in Cannes and seeing the pictures of her in the club makes them think that she’s surrounding herself with her old friends and that her partying is out of control,” a source close to Lindsay has said.
It looks like her brother Michael, who is with her just to make sure that she's staying out of trouble, is having his work cut out for him.
