Following months of intense speculation on Lindsay Lohan’s weight and whether she was not too thin for her own good, the producers of her upcoming film have put their foot down and directly asked her to fatten up. Movie bosses cannot have the actress look skeletal in the film, sources are telling The Sun, so it’s either eat up or be dropped from the project for her.

That Lindsay has lost some weight is no longer something that requires official confirmation from her camp, since she has a visibly more slender frame than, say, half a year ago. However, word has it that she has lost the pounds in quite an unhealthy manner (by not eating, overdosing on Adderall and suppressing her appetite with Red Bull and cigarettes, to name just a few of the stories that are currently circulating in the media), and this is a risk that producers of “The Other Side” are simply not willing to take.

“They want Lindsay looking like a normal, healthy girl, not a skeleton. So they ordered her to rest up and eat more. They refuse to risk her dropping out of the movie because of her problems.” an unnamed source reveals for the British publication, presumably speaking on solid facts. As is customary with these cases, a spokesperson for the producers of the film was not available for comment at the time of writing this article.

Nevertheless, should this report be accurate, it would come to confirm earlier speculation on Lindsay’s unhealthy lifestyle. Just recently, as she was photographed on a shopping spree in a white backless maxi dress, her thin frame and visible ribcage prompted talk among health specialists and nutritionists of an eating disorder, with some even comparing her body to how concentration camp victims looked.

An even older report had it that Lindsay’s family was also extremely concerned about her weight, so much so that they had asked her to move back home so they could keep an eye on what she ate and how she spent her time. “That way [mother] Dina and [sister] Ali can look after her and stop her skipping meals. It would be the best thing for her. We know it’s stress behind the weight loss. For a while, Ali was buying her pizza, fries, chips and all her favorites. But she just sits there, taking a few bites, then picking at the rest. She really isn’t fooling anyone.” another unnamed spy was telling the media a while ago.
