Lindsay Lohan has been going through a lot in recent years, including several stints in rehab, various arrests, and countless other incidents that brought her media attention. She will be offering her own version of all that in her tell-all book, which she is working on right now.

TMZ reports that the legally challenged actress and socialite doesn’t have a deal just yet but there’s plenty of interest in her memoirs to justify her belief that she will eventually be published.

When she does land a deal, it will probably be a 6-figure one, proving once more that, even if the acting offers stopped coming in a long time ago, she can still make a lot of money by simply being Lindsay Lohan.

The aforementioned e-zine notes that Lindsay started working on the book while doing her most recent stint in rehab, as diary entries part of a therapeutic exercise. So far, she’s covered topics like her family, her rise to fame and wild partying days that started when she was still a teen, drug abuse, and her career.

She will be holding nothing back, the report notes, but that doesn’t mean that readers will get the whole truth and nothing but the truth, because it will be her own version of the events. If anything, Lindsay is not exactly the most honest person out there, as her many post-jail / post-rehab interviews confirm: she is an absolute apologist and would rather she blamed the entire world than take responsibility for her own actions.

“The book is still in its early stages, and it doesn't have a clear focus, but she says she wants to open up every part of her life. Lindsay met with a huge literary agency in NYC Thursday – Waxman Leavall, which has repped tons of celebs who wrote books, including Victor Cruz, Novak Djokovic, Bill Murray, Brock Lesnar, and Cal Ripken Jr. The meeting was filmed as part of Lindsay's docu-series on OWN,” TMZ writes.

The OWN docu-series will air next year so, unless Lindsay announces the publishing deal until then, we’ll have to wait to find out more details about the book.
