14 DAY TRIAL // That Lindsay Lohan, she never ceases to surprise us! The actress, who is about to make her debut on the London theater stage this fall, made a special appearance on Jimmy Fallon the other night, after one fan of the show nominated her for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
The Ice Bucket Challenge is a viral challenge that sees “nominees” doused in ice water, while raising awareness and money for the ALS disease. Lindsay was supposed to be in London when the show was taped (allegedly), to prepare for her big debut.
However, for a good cause, she slipped into a pair of thigh-high leather boots and hotpants, and agreed to have Fallon pour a bucket of ice water on her head. She’s selfless like that.
The most hilarious thing about this “surprise” appearance is that she nominates Prince Harry and even says to him “thank you for having me,” i.e. in London, for the play. As if he’s on the London welcoming committee.
We shouldn’t lose focus of what’s important here, namely that Lindsay is promoting her theater debut is doing something good for charity. She didn’t mention the need for viewers to donate to the ALS Association or that she would donate too, but I think that showing up was enough of an effort in itself for her, right?
