Since biopics are all the rage right now on TV, Fred Durst too is jumping on the bandwagon, producing an one-hour drama for the CW based on his start in the music industry and his shot to fame with Limp Bizkit.

TV Guide confirms the project but can’t offer details like release date and cast right now.

“The Noise,” which will be the working title of the drama, will tell the story of a young man coming from a troubled family, who starts a band with a “unique sound” and then becomes an international star.

“Durst is a co-executive producer on the script, while Miles Feld is writing. Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum are executive producers, through CBS TV Studios,” TV Guide reports.

Fans probably know that this isn’t Durst’s first project of this type: “Douchebag,” which aired a couple of years ago on CBS, was also inspired in his life, telling the story of a rock star trying to find the balance between his rock star lifestyle and family life.

For that one too Durst worked with the Tannenbaums.
