Licensing partner Signatures Network and ArtGuitar, designer of custom paint and technology for guitars, have revealed yesterday they're offering two exclusive guitar controllers, featuring heavy metal pioneer Ozzy Osbourne for the limited edition AG RiffMaster Guitar Controller. Read on to learn more.

In addition, the same press release confirms that ArtGuitar has also unveiled three new designs from iconic rock band KISS. These new models will too be added to the company's guitar controller portfolio. The report however fails to confirm which guitar-controlled game(s) are going to support the new guitar models, but given that there are just two such titles currently out there (Guitar Hero and Rock Band), the company is surely not releasing the controllers to be hanged on walls as decorative items.

However, ArtGuitar confirms that the AG RiffMaster Guitar Controller is a genuine life-size Peavey guitar, especially crafted "for play with guitar based music videogames on the Playstation 2 computer entertainment system." Now we're getting somewhere. So, which music games currently run on the PS2? What do you know, both Rock Band and the latest installment in the Guitar Hero franchise, GH III: Legends of Rock. There, problem solved: the AG RiffMaster Guitar Controller works with the latest titles of the genre.

"We create detailed designs featuring iconic rock artists that you simply can't find anywhere else, and we're thrilled to add Ozzy Osbourne to our guitar controller portfolio," stated Steve Spurgeon, CEO of ArtGuitar. "The AG RiffMaster Guitar Controller truly customizes the rock experience and our customers now have 16 limited edition designs to choose from."

The report also provides an online purchase method, emphasizing that the AG RiffMaster Guitar Controller sports an elegant glossy finish offering a sleek professional feel. However, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock comes packed with a wireless Gibson Les Paul controller and this report doesn't say anything about the AG RiffMaster's connectivity means. Had the controllers featured wireless connectivity, they'd have mentioned it for sure.
