A few days ago Sotheby's published on their YouTube channel a new video featuring Sir Jonathan Ive and Mark Newson, the designers behind the Limited Edition Leica M camera, discussing their collaboration with U2's lead singer and well-known philanthropist, Bono, about the upcoming Sotheby's (RED) auction.

The Limited Edition Leica M is made entirely from aluminum using the most advanced tools possible. Besides its unique look, Leica M comes with a full-format CMOS sensor and a new, custom-made Leica APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH lens.

The auction will take place in New York on November 23 and will be hosted by (RED) and Sotheby's. The funds raised through this auction will be entirely donated to the Global Fund to help fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Africa.

As the auction date gets closer, we can only admire the extraordinary design and exceptional details for this Limited Edition Leica M camera.
