Fujitsu Computer Systems has announced today the launching of the LifeBook N6200 notebook, a system which can rival with any desktop machine. The notebook is designed with second generation Intel(R) Centrino(R) mobile technology and packed with advanced multi-media functionality that makes it ideal for the most avid gamers, digital media buffs and technology enthusiasts.

The LifeBook N6200 notebook offers an outstanding viewing experience with a high contrast 17-inch Crystal View WXGA + TFT LCD display that is 40% brighter than a standard TFT screen for more vivid images. Built-in stereo speakers equipped with a specially designed Fujitsu-engineered subwoofer delivers exceptional sound quality and 3D audio with Dolby headphone support enhances the overall DVD experience.

And since a multimedia system needs a lot of resources, Fujitsu crammed in the ?little monster? an ATI Mobility Radeon X600 card with 128 of RAM and a PCI Express bus. Users won?t have to worry about memory either, the mobile system supporting up to 2GB of DDR2 memory.

As for networks and Internet, LifeBook N6200 has technologies for everybody: modem, high-speed Gigabit Ethernet built-in and the latest Intel Pro/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection, which supports all popular wireless standards. With Fujitsu LifeBook N6200, storing images, movies and music won?t be a problem, as the system comes with a 200GB hard-disk. Optionally, you can also add another 60GB 7200 RPM solution.

The LifeBook N6200 notebook is available through the Fujitsu direct sales force, Web site and channel partners with pricing starting at $1,799 for a base configuration. Users can choose from a recommended configuration or they can customize their system using the Fujitsu Configure To Order (CTO) program.
