It figures out it's easier to install the radiator along the plane of the mainboard

I already knew that Lian Li liked to do things the unusual way, so I'm not surprised that the company figured out a new location for liquid cooler radiators.

What I do find surprising is that few, if any, other companies have thought of this before: installing the radiator above/along the plane of the mainboard itself.

Most often, case makers try to stretch the chassis, to make room for the radiator along the top, bottom or front.

Lian Li figured it would be more straightforward to place it essentially above the CPU block.

The name of the first Lian Li case with this placement is V360.

The aluminum enclosure has five 3.5-inch bays, one 5.25-inch bay, top-mounted PSU, a few fans to dissipate the air (the radiator cannot be expected to do everything alone after all).
