Although it may not have been especially loud about its products until this year's CES expo, Lian Li seems to have become quite active on the consumer PC market, having made the official introduction of not just its spider-shaped chassis, but of other test benches and even a mid-tower model with two heat zones. Now, the company has once again stepped on stage to release the PC-V352, an enclosure that promises to serve well both desktops and home-theater PC systems (HTPCs).

The enclosure is made of aluminum and has right and left mounts for optical disk drives, as well as multimedia I/O ports. This lets users place the PC in any position they wish. Measuring 279 x 262 x 373mm, the chassis can house motherboards based on not just the micro-ATX but also the mini-ATX form factor, along with up to four expansion cards. The product also boasts a tool-less hard drive cage and a removable motherboard tray, for higher user convenience.

In order to ensure an optimum airflow, the sliding HD cage of the PC-V352 features anti-vibration rubber ring suspension and space for up to three 3.5-inch units. There is also a pair of 120mm fans at the front, as well as an 80mm spinner at the back, controllable via a 3-speed fan switch. These spinners also have anti-vibration grommets, for even less noise. Not only that, but even the power-supply compartment is lined with rubber support pads.

An asset of the PC-V352 is its support for the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 standard, (it has two ports to be exact). Other I/O options include an e-SATA port, a card reader and an HD audio output. Finally, the casing will be available at the end of May, in three color options, namely black, silver and red. The first two will be priced at US$169, whereas the last one will carry a price tag of US$189.
