Lexmark will soon launch three new wireless printers (second quarter of 2007). I'm talking about the Lexmark X4550 Wireless All-in-one (AIO), the Lexmark Z1420 Wireless Color Printer and the Lexmark X3550 with wireless as an optional feature. The printers are compatible with 802.11 b/g wireless protocols and are backed by Lexmark exclusive Protection Guarantee featuring next-business day replacement for up to one year after purchase.

The X4550 prints at speeds of up to 26 pages per minute (ppm) black and 18 ppm color as well as 4800 x 1200 dpi resolution. In addition to fast print speeds, it also offers photo printing, copying and color scanning functionalities. The one touch color copier delivers copies at speeds up to 17 ppm and 11 ppm color a color and the scanner is 48-bit flatbed color.

And here are the benefits. Adding Lexmark's Wireless Technology to your wireless home network means you're free to print from "wherever you work best in your home". You don't have to interrupt your notebook activities in order to print your documents. Another plus to this no-strings approach is the fact that you can to easily share your Lexmark wireless printer among multiple computers in various rooms and deliver high quality print over your secure network. Moreover, you don't even need an internet connection to print wirelessly. A wireless router and a wireless computer, and of course the Lexmark X4550 wireless printer will do.

You can get the X4550 (along with the freedom to print anywhere) with 99,99 UK Pounds (about 130 US $).
