Jobs says

The speech given by Steve Jobs at the presentation of Apple's roadmap for the next period was "tainted" with ironies and allusions to Microsoft's poor performances.

Jobs talked about Tiger and about the impressive sales records obtained in only six weeks after the launch. He also mentioned something about the next MAC OS X operating system, dubbed Leopard, whose main purpose will be to bite Longhorn by the neck. Even the launch date is close to Longhorn's, outlining once again the purpose of the new operating system.

Obviously, Jobs touted Leopard as a superior solution which will boost even more Apple's market share and number of fans.

And the list of felines doesn't stop here; it seems the next operating systems will bear the names Lynx and Cougar, which were trademarked by Apple two years ago.
