14 DAY TRIAL // Leonardo DiCaprio gets away with a lot of stuff that would be deemed unpardonable in other celebrities, mostly because he’s Leonardo DiCaprio and he’s an amazing actor (who’s yet to get an Oscar) and he doesn’t care in the least about being a celebrity.
That last part also means that he gets to live his life as he sees fit, without feeling the need to hide it from the world – and right now, Leo is living the high life. Just the other day, he left an Art Basel party with about 20 models in tow, to continue the party at a venue of his choosing.
Being Leonardo DiCaprio has obvious perks
NY Daily News’ Confidenti@l reports that DiCaprio partied at the 1 Oak at Rec Room in South Beach with the likes of Brandon Davis and Joe Jonas, before he decided that he wanted to switch venues for the party.
He attended on his own, having recently split from his model girlfriend Toni Garrn. If you’re keeping tabs on Leo’s love life, you probably heard that online joke about how he picks his girlfriends by perusing the latest Victoria’s Secret catalog: Leo likes them pretty and he likes them young, but more importantly, he likes them when they’re not asking for a more serious commitment.
Garrn probably asked for that, because she got dumped. Word online has it that she followed him around Miami, attending the same parties as he was, probably thinking that she might get another chance.
She didn’t because Leo was otherwise entertained.
The ladies love Leo
According to the report, when DiCaprio decided that they should move the party someplace else more to his liking, he left accompanied by all the single ladies in the VIP section, most of them models.
“He left with 20 girls. Leo and 20 girls. He is my hero,” an eyewitness reveals for the publication. “He was overflowing with models everywhere. The Jonas brother looked scared, like he was going to drown and suffocate in the women. His face was hilarious.”
That Leo has a certain pull with women is clear from his dating history: not only has he dated some of the most beautiful women in showbiz, most of them models, but he’s never in a relationship for longer than a year and a half these days. And he’s never single.
Leonardo DiCaprio is like our modern Casanova, but again, in any other celebrity, this might translate into a womanizer reputation and very bad press. Gerard Butler knows how this can play out, he’s been there. On the other hand, right now, Leo is getting praises online, with bloggers saying he is definitely a “hero.”
Until he gets that Oscar, he will find comfort in the arms of all the beauties whose attention he commands, reportedly with a flick of the wrist and a “Let’s go.” Not really the worst trade-off possible, is it?
