14 DAY TRIAL // Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the biggest actors to dedicate himself wholeheartedly to raising awareness on the need to take better care of our environment. According to a new report, he's so green it's actually damaging for his love life.
Since December last year, Leo has been dating Victoria's Secret model Erin Heatherton. She's growing tired of his eco-friendly routines, which don't include much of bathing and grooming.
A source close to the couple tells the latest print issue of The National Enquirer (story via here), that Leo has been driving Erin insane with his “green” lifestyle.
It's not that she minds that he's so involved and so true to what he preaches, the report says. He stinks to high heaven and anyone can see why a woman wouldn't love it.
“Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend is making a huge stink over his hygiene! Leo avoids underarm deodorant and daily showers in his bid to help save the planet – but his personal environment has completely turned off his gorgeous galpal, model Erin Heatherton,” the Enquirer writes.
“Leo has let his love for the environment take over his whole world, and it’s killing his love life. He only showers a couple of days a week to conserve water, and he considers deodorant to be 'unnatural',” says an unnamed spy.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the handsome actor is also having issues with recycling at home, leaving leftovers to rot and stink.
“Leo is also an avid recycler, but sources say he often misses the pickup days, and the rotting refuse results in a funky-smelling kitchen. Leo went 'green' years ago, but his environmental obsession is giving Erin that sinking feeling,” the Enquirer explains.
The tab also says something about how DiCaprio had finally decided to settle down, deciding Erin was the one.
She too loves him but, if he wants this to work, he will have to invest a bit more effort into being more presentable, less smelly and, if possible, just as green.
Of course, given the source of the above report, it could be that it's nothing but a rumor and / or speculation.
