Leona Lewis is, by far, one of the most successful “products” ever to come out of the X Factor competition, they say, while also among the most talented and visible artists of today. Simon Cowell, her mentor, is now thinking of having her duet with Robbie Williams on two tracks and Kings of Leon for a new song, all three of which will be included on a re-release of “Echo,” the Mirror writes.

Nothing has yet been made official and, knowing how these things are usually kept well under wraps until the very last moment, chances are nothing will go on the record just yet. However, as per ongoing reports, Lewis is already busy at work: two tracks with Williams, who just recently made his comeback after a long break from the spotlight, and one with Kings of Leon. Moreover, Cowell is reportedly set to have Robbie get up on stage with Leona on some of her tour dates as well.

“The X Factor winner is teaming up with the Robster in the studio next week to record two tracks. They are for a mooted re-release of ‘Echo’ later this year, following the box office success of ‘Avatar’ – which featured Leona’s dulcet tones. And her mentor Simon Cowell – desperate to get Robbie in as a fifth X Factor judge – has even suggested the Angels star join Leona on stage for two dates on her arena tour this summer,” the British tab informs, citing sources from the industry.

“Leona is incredibly proactive. She knows exactly what she wants and where she’s heading and is thrilled with these developments. She loves Robbie and thinks he’s a real laugh – and the love-in is mutual. They’re just going to go in the studio and see what comes out. The track will coincide with her arena tour, with the possibility that Robbie could appear on stage. Simon is really keen on the idea and hopes it will help Robbie come on board with the X factor,” a tipster confirms for the same publication.

As for the collaboration with Kings of Leon, that one was Leona’s own idea, the insider further reveals. Still, while she already met with Robbie and started working on the two new tracks, the other duet is, as of now, only in an initial planning stage.
