A day earlier than previously thought, Lenovo has taken the wraps off its newest business tablet, the ThinkPad 10.

Lenovo already has the ThinkPad 8 out on the market, but this new slate is targeted at customers in need of a more spacious display.

The device-maker has also unveiled a series of accessories for the device, to ready it for mobile activities, including a smart cover and a few keyboard options for those who want to turn the tablet into a laptop too.

As Tomshardware notes, the tablet’s 10.1-inch screen is of an IPS variety and offers full HD resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels). Power comes from an Intel Atom Z3795 quad-core processor fitted with either 2GB / 4GB of RAM and backed-up by 51GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal storage.

Further specifications include two cameras (8MP on the back and 2MP up in front), microHDMI, USB 2.0, microSD slot. We’re not being told how large the battery is, but Lenovo says it should be enough to sustain work for up to 10 hours.

As mentioned above, the ThinkPad 10 comes with several accessories, including a smart pen, a tablet dock and two keyboards. The first one is an “Ultrabook” laptop dock that can transform your tablet into a laptop when needed.

The second option is a portfolio case with flat keys, reminiscent of the Touch Cover that comes with Surface tablets. This case also has a loop where users can keep their smart pens.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet will become available in June and pricing specifications will start at $599 / €435. If you want to add some of the accessories too, note that the Ultrabook keyboard will sell for an extra $129 / €94 while the tablet dock can be yours for $119 / €86.

The QuickShot cover that was offered along with the ThinkPad 8 tablet is also available here for the price of $59 / €43. Lenovo realized a while back that it’s pretty annoying to use rear-facing tablet cameras when they have a cover on.

The QuickShot solves the problem by letting users easily expose the camera living on the back. Doing so will also cause the Windows camera app to launch automatically, while the flap remains folded by a magnet.

Later this summer, Lenovo will also make two other accessories available for the tablet, including a ThinkPad 10 Rugged Case ($69 / €50) for those planning to take the slate out for a spin in hazardous environments and the Touch Case ($119 / €86).
