I keep telling you, Chromebooks will be a big thing in 2014. Samsung, HP, Acer and Lenovo already have offerings available on the market, and Dell and Toshiba have just showcased their first models for the first time at CES 2014.

So who’s missing from this picture? Well ASUS, but the company has already announced its intention of releasing two Chromebook models in the first part of 2014. Also, now it seems Lenovo is making a comeback in the business, as well.

A company representative has apparently spoken to CNET in Las Vegas, revealing that “multiple Chromebook” models have been scheduled for release until the summer of 2014. Lenovo says the laptops are going to be available in several configurations and with diverse price ranges.

Lenovo’s first Chromebook was obviously targeted at the educational sector, but the market is expected to “accelerate greatly in the next 12 months,” so models targeted at the average consumer will also see the light of day in 2014.
