Earlier this month, unannounced tablets from Lenovo have been discovered by an Italian publication, showing us the PC maker was working towards bringing new 7-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch modes out on the market.

Now Lenovo has officially unveiled a line-up of new tablets from the A-Series, including the A7-30, A7-50, A8 and A10 (via AndroidCentral). Let’s take them one at the time and see what each has to offer.

The A7-30 is marketed as a Pocket Studio with Dolby, while the A7-50 is said to be a Crystal Clear Multimedia Reader. As you might have guessed, they both have 7-inch displays.

The A7-30 comes with Dolby enhanced dual-front facing speakers, which is an advantage because the sound comes towards the user. The slate also has dual cameras (2MP on the back and 0.3MP in front), 3500 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2 out of the box.

The A7-50 offers a little extra in terms of specification by adding HD resolution to the table and bumping the frontal camera up to 2MP.

Both A7-30and A7-50 come with options for cellular 3G connectivity via an included SIM card slot. Lenovo did mention the A7-40 tablet too, another version of the two presented above that takes the rear camera out of the equation and offers 8GB of internal storage. The slate is available in ebony.

Moving on, we have the A8 which has an 8-inch screen (1280 x 800 pixels) combined with a quad-core processor and Dolby audio.

This model is marketed for Home Entertainment on the Move seekers. Other highlights of the slate include 3G connectivity, a 4200 mAh battery, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 2MP front-facing camera and 5MP rear-facing camera.

Last but not least comes the A10, a tablet with a 10.1-inch display and the same 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.

The tablet draws power from a quad-core processor and has a 6340 mAh battery, front facing speakers with Dolby, dual cameras (2MP up in front and 5MP on the back) and like the other slates it has the option of adding 3G. Android 4.2 remains the operating system here too.

Lenovo will be making the tablets available in Q2 2014, so if you’re looking for a budget colorful tablet companion keep an eye out. The A750 will be priced £99.99 / €121 / $166, while the A8-50 will set you back with £139.99 / €169 / $233. Last but not least, the A10-70 starts at £169.99 / €204 / $283.

Lenovo’s tablet business has been picking up recently and the company posted a massive 326% year-over-year shipment increase in the department with Ashton Kutcher’s Yoga tablet being the most popular.
