One of most powerful Android smartphones soon to be available on the market, the IdeaPhone K900 manufactured by Lenovo, is expected to make its debut in India.

According to a report from NDTV Gadgets, the Chinese company plans to conquer the Indian market with this top-tier Android device.

Lenovo K900 is said to arrive in India on May 10 and will be available for purchase for only Rs 25,000 outright, which is about $460 or €350.

Although the information has yet to be confirmed, Lenovo’s move comes in line with the company’s previous announcement stating its interest in the Indian market.

The K900 was unveiled earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show and has been confirmed to arrive in China on May 6. That means India will be the second country where Lenovo launches its Android flagship smartphone, the K900.

The IdeaPhone K900 is one of the most powerful Android smartphones soon to be available on the market, previously leaked benchmarks confirm.

The device scored pretty high and was almost on par with the Galaxy S 4, which seems to be the top scorer these days.

The smartphone packs a 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 (Cover Trail+ platform) and 2GB of RAM. It also comes with 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

Another strong point of the K900 is the stunning 5.5-inch full HD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.

On the back, the handset boasts an enhanced 13-megapixel photo snapper featuring Sony’s Exmor BSI sensor, autofocus, LED flash and video recording. A secondary 2.1-meagapixel front-facing camera is included as well.

Lenovo K900 will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but we expect that the Chinese company will offer an Android 4.2 upgrade at some point this year.
