Outside of the usual assortment of notebooks and tablets, Lenovo has also introduced during this year’s CES fair a new series of all-in-one computers, the IdeaCentre B340 and B540, using Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors and Nvidia discrete graphics.

The two IdeaCentre AIO systems are based on a Full HD (1920x1080) resolution screen with multi-touch capabilities, the display used for the B540 measuring 23-inch, while its smaller brother is equipped with a 21.5-inch panel.

Despite the different screen sizes, both of these systems run Intel Sandy Bridge processors, although Lenovo hasn’t mentioned the exact CPU models that will go into the IceaCentre AIOs.

The fast Intel CPUs are paired together with 8GB of system memory, while storage options include various HDDs with capacities ranging all the way up to 2TB.

As far as graphics is concerned, Lenovo has decided to go with something more powerful than the Intel HD GPU installed inside the Sandy Bridge processors and opted for not yet official Nvidia GeForce 615M 1GB in the B340 and for the GeForce GT 650M with 2 GB of video memory in the B540.

The rest of the configurations list includes an integrated TV tuner (that can also work when the AIO isn’t powered), Gigabit Ethernet networking, 802.11 b/g/n wireless, a multi-format card reader, a webcam, and a DVD burner.

Users can also swap this optical drive for a Blu-ray combo unit, and the B540 can also be fitted with a 3D display compatible with Nvidia’s 3D Vision technology.

According to Notebook Italia, the Lenovo IdeaCentre B340 and B540 will be available from June 2012, with a starting price of $699 (roughly 553 EUR).

Lenovo bundles the two AIO systems with a keyboard, mouse and external power brick, so the desktops should be up and running in no time.
