14 DAY TRIAL // Two Lenovo concept PCs have won design awards from the prestigious German design institute, Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen. The institute awarded a "Best of the Best for Highest Design Quality" to Lenovo''s Yoga notebook, which features a 180-degree adjustable display for multiple viewing angles and uses. The "High Design Quality" award to Lenovo's Sundial PC, an ultrathin PC with a rising stand and interactive touchscreen.
The Yoga concept wants to create new standards for laptops. Covered by a finely stitched leather surface, the new soft hinges and self-locking mechanism allow users to deploy the laptop as a 135 degree table display, a foldable drawing pad, or in its traditional position. A wireless mouse and ultrathin wireless keyboard accompany the Yoga laptop.
The ultrathin all-in-one standalone Sundial PC delivers flexibility and usability with a rising stand and sun dial-shaped touch wheel interface to fit the needs of users. The rising stand allows for use in a variety of different environments including a desktop or a living room. 3-D virtual images and a touch screen help users navigate among applications.
