Business desktop computers certainly aren't among the most exciting devices that are available out there, but when it comes to Lenovo's ThinkCenter line we are willing to cut them some slack, the Chinese company just announcing its new M75e desktop range that features AMD processors together with that all important business sense.

Built to handle the typical tasks and applications you find in large-scale environments, like in schools, government, or other general businesses, these new no thrills machines are the first Lenovo's M Series platforms to use AMD processors.

This means that business can now choose between a wide range of AMD processors, from Sempron to Phenom II, while also getting AMD integrated graphics, the M75e desktop series coming in with out of the box support for two independent displays.

And if that is not enough for you, Lenovo also allows its costumers to go for a ATI Radeon HD 5450 dedicated graphics card that can drive up to four displays, improving productivity for users that need to work with large or multiple spreadsheets.

And since these machines are part of the Lenovo Enhanced Experience program, the M75e series was optimized for a fast bootup experience, the company stating its Windows 7 Professional packing systems will start in about 30 seconds, a really impressive feet if you ask me.

DASH management functionality is also included, so IT departments will be able to manage it without too much tinkering, the available USB ports coming with a locking option in order to enhance the system's security.

The M75e will be available in two different sized versions, a small form factor mini-tower as well as a standard tower, both of these units coming with a 2.8GHz AMD Sempron 145 AM3 processor, 2GB of DDR3 memory, an integrated AMD GPU, a 250GB hard drive and a three-year warranty, in their base configurations.

Both units will start at $504 US, although going for a quad-core processor or discrete graphics will most certainly raise the price quite a bit.
