Leica is most definitely one of the best renowned brands in the photography world, so many will be pleased to know that the manufacturer will soon release a special edition of the D-Lux 5.

Compared to the regular D-Lux, this new device will use a new titanium-finish casing and is shipped together with a matching leather case.

This new design will be accompanied by the same high-quality components found in the original D-Lux 5 that provide the camera with 3.8x optical zoom, ISO settings ranging between 80 and 12,800, RAW and JPEG support and 720p HD video recording capabilities.

For processing RAW images, Leica will bundle its camera together with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, which definitely is a nice software to have for such tasks.

If all these specs and features sound just about right to you, the Titanium edition D-Lux 5 will become available by the end of October with a suggested retail price of £855 (982 Euros or $1,343 US), which is £100 more expensive than the Titanium-less D-Lux 5. (via Tech Radar)
