Leica is known around the world for its premium digital cameras and, from time to time, various branches of the renowned German manufacturer offer a few accessories as a gift upon purchasing a new Leica camera model.
This is also the case of the Leica Camera Japanese branch that offers either a Leica D-LUX 6 hand grip or a Leica pouch on every Leica D-LUX 6 compact camera purchase. The offer is valid only in Japan, starting February 20 through March 31.
The Leica D-LUX 6 is a compact digital camera that packs a 10.1MP 1/1.7'' CMOS sensor and a fast Vario-Summilux APSH lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 24-90mm and a maximum aperture of f/1.4-2.3.
As reported by DCwatch, the camera was released in November 2012 in Japan and it's currently available for purchase at a price of ¥80,000 / $785 / €570, while on the US market it's priced at $800 / €580.
