Jack Covill-Lowndes of Wainfleet, Lincolnshire in the UK has been immortalized in a statue made out of LEGO bricks.

He has been raising money for St. Barnabas Hospice since his mother, Steph, passed away from cancer in 2006. Jack is just 10 years old and his drive to raise money for charity is remarkable.

The statue was his prize in a Legoland contest aimed at finding “a real-life, everyday hero.” He has been awarded the title of Lego City Hero and his statue now stands at Legoland in Windsor.

It took the company 35,000 bricks to create the life-size statue using the image of the young boy.

"It's awesome. They've even made the same clothes I was wearing out of Lego – I can't stop looking at my statue!" Jack describes, as reported by the Mirror.
