In order to better recreate the construction site environment, LEGO has added several stickers to be placed on their products.

The company has apologized for one such sticker, marked with the phrase “Hey Babe!” The message seems to validate harassment, but it can also be interpreted as offensive to workers by putting them in a harsh light.

The sticker also includes the depiction of a man in working attire waving at someone.

“We are sorry that you were unhappy with the way a mini-figure was portrayed here,” says Charlotte Simonsen, senior director at LEGOs corporate communications office, in a report by ABC News.

From what I can see in the photo above, posted to Tumblr by father-of-two Josh Stearns, the other taglines used by LEGO could also be potentially insulting, such as the gender-biased “men at work” or the raunchy-sounding “gettin' dirty.”
