Cartoon series on next-gen

By the looks of it, the Nintendo Wii's library of games is getting bigger and bigger as a new game for this cheap next-gen is announced every day. Today comes the word that Legend of the Dragon, the cartoon series, will make its way to Wii.

1up has the word and they reveal that the game will feature 19 playable characters in full 3D action. The game will be set to follow the action of the cartoon, and if you are a fan, you know that the story focuses on Woo Yin, the evil Zodiac Master, as he wants to capture the powers of the 12 temple guardians. Woo Yin's Arch nemesis is Golden Dragon (the representative of good in this story), and fights both Woo Yin and his evil twin sister Ling.

Each one of the 19 playable characters has the ability of turning into one of the 12 temple guardians. So, let me see if I get this right: 19 characters and 12 temple guardians? Somebody missed their math classes...

I know that many of you can't wait to try out this game, especially with the big selection of characters available. This has to be the first fighter for the Wii, if we don't count the Virtual Console downloads (Street Fighter). Personally, I'd like to see a Mortal Kombat game ported to Nintendo's console, but it has to be a good port, all the controls remapped and improved graphics. But I'm only dreaming...
