The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the most high profile video game that will be launched for the Nintendo Wii home console during this fall and a title that the publisher hopes will further boost the fortunes of the lately much troubled platform.

The first few hours of the game will include a section which hints at romantic involvement between main character Link and Zelda, as she makes an effort to draw out the hero into offering her compliments.

It all happens during a mission during which Link is searching for Ming, a pet for Zelda that looks like a fantasy cat.

The new guide for the Skyward Sword adventure is called Fi and players report that he is very close to Navi in terms of actual character.

The developers at Nintendo working on the Wii title have included three different options for the Heads Up Display, designed to allow various types of gamers to get the most out of the experience.

The normal mode, which has been shown in screenshots and videos, includes an image of the Wiimote on the screen and shows the player the moves and button presses needed to get through various situations in the game.

A Light option is designed to make the screen more welcoming by eliminating the Wiimote picture while still prompting the player to press buttons while the Pro mode eliminates all on-screen prompts and allows the player to take in the game and rely on his memory to control Link.

Those who have gotten hands on time with Skyward Sword have also reported that a dialog choice mechanics is introduced for the first time in the series.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be launched on November 18 in Europe and on the 20th in North America.

Nintendo has not said whether it also plans to port the new Zelda title to the Wii U console, which will be launched in the middle of 2012.
