Mad HackerZ, the Lebanese hacktivists that breached the Yellow Pages site a few days ago, continue their “electronic revolution” with the defacement of five sites owned by the local government. The sites of the Jbail Byblos Municipality, which is known as the City of Culture and the Alphabet, the one of Zahleh – Maalaka, the City of Poetry and Wine, Zouk Mosbeh, the City of the Word, and the one of the City of Zahle were all defaced to display the hackers' message.

The fifth site is the one of the country’s Audit Court, an organization established in 1951 with the purpose of managing public funds by auditing and settling the accounts of the state and its municipalities.

“Peace, mercy and blessings of Allah. Message from the hackers Lebanon. Electronic revolution is still going on. Our campaign to the sites of Lebanon continues. We do not pull, banners do not ignite do not throw stones Aitarat. Rationality of a peaceful revolution!!” reads a translation of the message wrote by the hackers on the defaced pages.
