After one leaked image of Sony Ericsson P3i sprang over the Internet recently, there is now more information on the handset, revealing the performances that it is capable of. The specifications are quite welcomed, as many people have thrilled over the handset's design.

Great looks without matching brain skills is quite disappointing. Still, fear not, as the specifications for Sony Ericsson P3i prove to perfectly match the appealing design of the slider phone.

It looks like the 2.8 inch VGA screen is capable of supporting an unbelievable 480 x 640 resolution. The phone also packs a 5 megapixel camera, one of the most evolved from what mobile phones have to offer nowadays. When it comes to image handling performances, it sounds like this handset is capable of the highest ones, which is bound to arouse the interest of several camera phone fans.

Sony Ericsson P3i has a 332 MHz processor and 128 MB of RAM. There is also a new UIQ interface version, although nothing more is known about it. The phone will also pack HSPA performances and WiFi connectivity.

All these evolved performances add up to a highly appealing design. Sony Ericsson P3i will come with a new keypad also used in the case of the M600 smartphone in the past. The smooth lines, with no curves and the large display screen definitely prove just how appealing the phone looks.

Further specifications say that Sony Ericsson P3i's release will be announced in October or November this year, with a launch set for the second quarter of year 2008. It is excellent to see new information appearing for this handset, although an official statement would have been even more than welcomed.

Until Sony Ericsson makes an official announcement for this mobile phone, we're left only with the hope that a mobile phone capable of such evolved performances will really come in the near future.
