Good-looking SE

SE4m, a Sony Ericsson dedicated forum from Saudi Arabia, leaked another set of images with a new mysterious Sony Ericsson phone. A few days ago, the same forum unveiled some interesting pictures of an unknown SE clamshell that will probably be officially released during 2008.

Now we have another phone, this time a slider that looks very nice (as far as the "awesome" quality of the available pics lets us see). As in the case of the above-mentioned clamshell, there are no details about the new phone - no name, no technical specs, no nothing. Well, there is an inscription in the lower part of the display: "SE 123", but I seriously doubt this has anything to do with the handset's name.

In two of the leaked images, the phone is shown standing next to W910 (or W910i), Sony Ericsson's Walkman slider that won the "Best Mobile Handset or Device" title for the year 2007. W910 measures 99 x 50 x 12 millimeters (3.9 x 2.0 x 0.5 inches), and, since the picture shows that the new slider is smaller, at least in length, we have a pretty good idea about its overall size.

Furthermore, we know that the mysterious handset has a display at least as large as the one of W910 (240 x 320 pixels). A photo camera is also packed in the new phone, and it would have been weird if this feature had not been included. Of course, we can't say if the camera will be an excellent one or just average, but we'd sure choose the first option.

Awaiting for official details from Sony Ericsson and an official name for the new and shiny slider, we must say that we hope it to be an affordable high-end device - despite the fact that such a device can't really exist, since if it's high-end it clearly has a price that won't be considered affordable. But we can still dream, right? :)
